Whilst I am not in favour of selected retailers having exclusives if it is a case of an old model being re issued I can be forgiving.Releasing this month is another early 90's runner from Adidas, who are absolutely storming ahead this year by digging out silhouettes from the dusty archives at their head office, the Oregon Ultra Tech.Taking cues from 80's models they updated aspects to bring it into the 90's with the application of Dellinger webbing which was created to help with shock absorbtion and also using Adidas' own soft-cell technology.A suede and mesh combo help hold the upper together and is always a winner in my book,colourways available being White/Purple and Black/Teal helping keep the overall look fuss free and clean.
The first Oregon was an early 80's model and I can't help but suspect the naming was to goad their rivals over at Nike,who have roots and a strong heritage with the North Eastern state. With a thicker sole than it's 80's predecessor for improved support and a reflective strip for improved safety when out training it was originally released in 1991 and was in production for a number of years.
